Technical Service Representative
Our Holbrook, NY and Nutley, NJ Offices require
experienced Technical Service Representatives. The
successful applicants will service Clinical Laboratory
devices such as Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, and
other laboratory equipment at customer sites with minimal
supervision. You will perform routine service,
modifications and preventative maintenance. In addition,
you will communicate effectively with customers, serving
as a main point of contact, to ensure customer
satisfaction as well as instruct customers on maintenance
and operating procedures. Furthermore, you will be
responsible for ordering parts for equipment, returning
defective parts as required and provide technical services
and sales support to internal/external customers. You will
establish and maintain proper business relationships with
customers and peers, as well as perform necessary
administrative duties accurately.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have
a technical Associate Degree or the equivalent combined
with 3 to 5 years of related experience in medical
electronics, giving you a solid foundation with which to
apply your knowledge and excellent problem solving and
analytical skills. You possess strong organizational,
interpersonal and communication skills. You have the
ability to work under time constraints, adapt to change
and have the ability to work in a team environment. You
must also have a strong working knowledge in computers and
networking and in the use of tools and service test
equipment. "Network +" certification will be a definite
asset. A valid driver’s license and good driving record is
required.
